Premieres in October |

international blends have earned Mayorga Coffee Roasters “Best Coffee”
in the Best of Silver Spring Contest for the second year in a row.
Mayorga and other contest winners, like Mi Rancho for “Best Tex-Mex,”
will be featured in the Premiere Edition of the Best of Silver Spring
Guide, sponsored by BOSS - Business Owners of Silver Spring. “Our
company promotes local businesses,” reports Francene Hill, BOSS
President & CEO, “the Best of Silver Spring Guide gives visitors and
residents the ‘people’s choice’ of local restaurants, attractions and
landmarks. Downtown (Silver Spring) is attracting families, teens and
singles,” said Hill, “because you and your spouse can go to
Eggspectations (Best Brunch), your kids can go to Majestic Movies (Best
Fun for Teens) and then meet for dessert at CakeLove (Best Bakery) – all
within the same block!” In addition to picking favorite foods, local
residents selected penguins as their #1 choice for Silver Spring’s logo
while the former “Silver SprUng” campaign of elicited such comments as
“embarrassing” and “anything but the U.” Scheduled for an October, 2006
release, BOSS’ Best of Silver Spring Guide will include visitor
information, calendar of events and company sponsors supporting the

BOSS Donates to Katrina Victims |

September 5, 2005 -
BOSS (Business
Owners of Silver Spring), invites local businesses to join us in
assisting residents along the Gulf Coast in Louisiana, Mississippi and
Alabama who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Private individuals,
companies and organizations are heeding the call to send financial
contributions and supplies to those communities who desperately need our
help. In addition to the American Red Cross, many local groups have
already responded, but the need will continue for several months to come.

Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce Business Golf Classic
on Monday, June 6, 2005. BOSS President & CEO, Francene Hill, will head up the company's golf foursome at the annual event held at Blue Mash Golf Course. In addition to playing golf, BOSS will sponsor a golf course hole and join in other tournament sponsor activities.
This year's golf outing has over 160 foursomes competing for the lowest score, closest to the pin, longest drive, putting contest and various door prizes and club auctions. A portion of the golf outing's proceeds will benefit local police officers' fund. So join BOSS and other local businesses at this wonderful opportunity to network and have fun on the golf course. BOSS Announces 2005 Charity
Campaign!

1, 2005 - BOSS and SilverSpringCenter.com are dedicated to providing quality services to the Silver Spring, MD community. Over the past few years, our company has sponsored local events, donated to area charities, and offered free web listings to religious and volunteer groups.
Starting in 2005, BOSS is kicking off a new charity campaign to continue our philanthropic commitment. Each month, we will donate 5% of
BOSS Ads receipts to a local, national or international charity. January's contribution will help address the critical water and sanitation needs of children affected by the tsunami crisis sponsored by UNICEF & the Clinton Foundation.
Today, February 1st marks the Thanksgiving in February program, where select restaurants contribute a proportion of their sales to help feed the hungry in Montgomery County. Therefore, our donation this month will go to Community Ministries the sponsors of this annual relief program. We look forward to giving back to the community which has been so generous and supportive to our company.

BOSS will celebrate its 2nd Anniversary! Last year, we commemorated our anniversary with a successful networking reception and small business seminar at Montgomery College's Business Training Center. We are actively planning this year's
BOSS Anniversary Celebration and hope you will be able to participate! Since
BOSS will be speaking to the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce in March (see above), our celebration is scheduled for April or May.
